Engineering is the innovative application of "scientific principles to design or develop structures, machines, or to construct or operate them with full knowledge of their design. It is an art and science that means "applicational of theoretical knowledge" gained through pursuing a course.

Depending upon one's curiosity, one can specialize in the countless fields of engineering like Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical and Petroleum Engineering, Environment Engineering, Biomedical and Biotechnology Engineering, Mining Engineering, Robotics Engineering and many more. The duration of courses is 4 years for B.tech and 5 years for the integrated course of B.tech+M.tech, depending upon the courses and colleges one chooses to pursue.
